Privacy notice
Who we are
SAAN IT CONSULTING LIMITED, 3 Canal Court, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B27 6SU, is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Contact: [email protected].
Enquiry forms
The contact and support forms send your name, email address, message, and optionally your phone number, organisation, issue summary and chosen services to a script on this website's server. The script emails them to our mailbox. We use them only to answer your enquiry or provide the service you ask about. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before a possible contract. A hidden field filters automated spam.
Hosting and mail processing
The website and mailbox are run by our hosting provider, which processes server requests and email on our behalf. Standard server logs may be kept by the host under its own terms.
Rate limiting
To limit abuse, the form script stores a pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address (a one-way hash) and a counter in a temporary file on the server. It allows a small number of attempts per fifteen minutes. Expired files are deleted when later requests arrive. Message contents are not stored by this mechanism.
Cookies and browser storage
We install no analytics, advertising or other optional cookies. When you choose "Accept necessary" or "Reject optional", that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage so the banner does not reappear; if storage is blocked the site still works. Form drafts are kept in sessionStorage in your tab so text is not lost if sending fails; they clear when the tab closes or after a successful send. You can reopen your choice here:
Retention
Enquiries are kept only for as long as needed to deal with them, provide any agreed service, and meet legal obligations. The site owner must confirm the actual retention policy applied to the mailbox.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
